Bnuuy Deliverance
A short needle platformer for the Gameboy about the struggles of a mail delivery bunny.
A - Alt/Z/J - Jump/Double Jump B - Ctrl/K/X - Pickup/Throw Left - Left/A - Move Left Right - Right/D - Move Right Up - Up/W - Enter Door (don't forget your package) Down - Down/S - While Throwing: Drop Package
I've been tinkering with Gameboy development a couple years but never got a project off the ground.
Decided that March would be the time for it and found a home for the game in the Lil Guy Game Jam.
This project was mostly an exercise in developing with the GBDK.
Working within the limits of the system was entertaining albeit sometimes frustrating.

BNUUY!!!!!! I loved the music, levels, and the lil guy so much! I am not the best at platformers, but this was a lot of fun to get this package delivered! Had a lot of laughs even though I struggled, and this was an incredible game to put out as your first time with GB creator!
Cute bnuuy, loved the gameboy classic aesthetic, banger music, and a good amount of difficulty navigating the platforms with the box! That last level was a struggle tho... oof.
Overall 9/10.
okay so you mentioned on the showcase stream that the end screen is beatable but I'm STRUGGLIN right at the start
Am I right that you gotta climb all the way up the left ladder, then figure out how to throw the box all the way across the screen to the bottom of the right ladder? Cause I seem to max out at throwing the box just over half way across before it drops straight down lol
I love the idea of making the ending both a joke / fakeout and an actual really high skill-ceiling rage game! From that perspective the whole game is kinda just a tutorial for the REAL game in the last level

You’d need to throw that box elsewhere, it’s not getting across. You can however make it across without it.

This is really great! The music is a total banger, the gameplay is tight and the perfect level of demanding. I gotta admit I was not expecting that freakin kaizo double jump situation, really good stuff :)
Awesome game! Good platforming with that perfect amount of frustration. That last level cutscene killed me xD Was starting to reconsider my life choices while the screen scrolled down.
Certified Banger, awesome game, almost broke my computer in that last level, nevertheless, 10/10.
Neat game, but I have no idea how to get that package on the other side.
